CTR in France

CTR has had (and continues to have) strong connections to Lyon and France, which has brought several trips to Lyon as well as the Flax and Needle Festival of 2015. At the Flax and Needle Festival in Angiens/Normandy, CTR visited Terre de Lin Museum, and experienced the growth, harvesting, Scutching, Heckling and Spinning of the Flax. At the 2020 Textile Trip to Lyon, we visited Musée des Tissus and in 2023 we visited the Benaud factory producing De Moire fabrics.
