Ongoing research on Early Modern textiles in Denmark
Seminar by Morten Grymer-Hansen, Ditte Kröner and Anne Kristine Larsen. We are diving into the world of textiles and textile production in the early modern period presenting new and ongoing research.
Textile production and consumption in Early Modern Denmark remain an underrepresented topic in textile scholarship. Recently, there has been a renewed interest in the field with new perspectives and methods showcasing a different view of not just textiles and their production but also the lives of the people who made and used them. This seminar dives into current studies of Early Modern textiles in Denmark and how they relate to the human experience.
