Papers
The conference will present papers on current and previous unpublished research of both senior researchers as well as students of archaeology, anthropology, conservation, art history, Pre-Spanish history, etc., about their research in any topic that is linked to the understanding of pre-Columbian Textiles. A session on newly excavated Mexican archaeological textiles is planned.
The conference will be live streamed.
A publication of the conference papers is scheduled for 2017: Pre-Columbian Textiles, University of Nebraska.
The conference will follow up on the 5 Jornadas Internacionales de Textiles Precolombinos, held in the university of Barcelona 1999 – 2010, and in Quai Branly, Paris 2012. The papers from these conferences have all been published (Actas I-V, and the VIth meeting is currently getting ready to be published online).
