Fashioning the Viking Age – One year after

Centre for Textile Research marks its 15th Anniversary by presenting three research areas to our students, research colleagues - and to everyone else sharing an interest in our works.

First off is this event; The project Fashioning the Viking Age was launched in September 2018 at the National Museum of Denmark. The project seeks to explore and reconstruct textiles, textiles production and garments of the Viking Age.

The first year of the project has now passed. We therefore invite everyone interested to come and hear about the current results of the project.

The project is a cooperation between the National Museum of Denmark, Centre for Textile Research and Lejre, Land of Legends.
