Textile Research in Egypt and Sudan

Since 2015, Centre for Textile Research has been the host of several research projects on ancient Egyptian and Sudanese textiles.

This month, the CTR lecture series will present the results and ongoing activities of four projects, inviting you on a textile journey along the Nile Valley from Prehistory to Late Antiquity, from Khartoum to the Fayoum.
