Just launched: Re-excavating SJE-350/II

Online archive and digital exhibition of all documentation created in the 1960s during the excavation of a Late Antique grave in Sudanese Nubia, by the Scandinavian Joint Expedition. The items presented regroup the original archives (reports, photographs, drawings, etc.) as well as modern records of the artifacts now curated at the Gustavianum Museum, Uppsala University, and the Museum of Archaeology, University of Stavanger. Particular attention has been given to the textiles found in situ in the grave.
