Eva Andersson Strand has received a price
Professor Eva Andersson Strand, our former Head of Centre and professor of archaeology, has received a prize from the Brita Janckes Prisfond for her research in textile history.
The Prize has been awarded through the Royal Gustavus Adolphus Academy for her groundbreaking efforts in renewed and deepened research in the field of historical textiles, as well as situating the past textile craftsmanship in a contemporary perspective.
The rewarding of the prize will find place November 6th 2025 in Rigssalen at Uppsala Castle.
