Professor Marie-Louise Nosch has received a Category A Research Grant from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation. The Grant covers up to six months of research in Greece during the academic year October 2012 – September 2013. She will come to Greece to collaborate with Greek colleagues at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (N.H.R.F.), Institute for Greek and Roman Antiquity (K.E.R.A.). Marie-Louise Nosch is a historian, specialized in ancient Greek history and Aegean epigraphy. She is the director of the Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre for Textile Research, University of Copenhagen and research professor at the SAXO Institute, University of Copenhagen. At Centre for Textile Research she is the research manager of the project Textile Economies in the Mediterranean Area (TEMA) 2010-2015.
