Mette Bruun, Research Assistant, The Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre for Textile Research

Mette Bruun is Master of Arts in Art History, University of Copenhagen. She is specialized in modern textiles e.g. technological textiles and their relation to scent and the human body. She has a professional background as a teacher of textile handicrafts, design history and art history. In 2009 she organized a conference on Future Textiles – technological and intelligent textiles and is currently organizing a follow up: Future Textiles 2 due November 2011 at the University of Copenhagen.
