Karsten Skjold Petersen, Curator and senior researcher, The Royal Danish Arsenal Museum

Skjold Petersen is Master of Arts in History and Geography, Roskilde University. Since 1995 he has been curator at The Royal Danish Arsenal Museum.
He main field of expertise is army uniforms from Denmark and Norway until 1814, investigating amongst others production, procurement, storage, materials, cut, shape and colours. He has accumulated a large archive of pictures and has written extensively on the subject e.g. Uniforms in the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum in Uniforms – yesterday, today and tomorrow. Proceedings.
