Marie Curie Fellow at Denmarks National Foundation’s Centre for Textile Research

Project: Periphron Penelopeia. Textile Technology and the Tacit Dimension of Thought in Ancient Greece

The project is funded by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung with a Marie Curie Fellowships in the M4HUMAN programme (Mobility for experienced researchers in historical humanities and Islamic studies) aimed at supporting outstanding scholars. This funding initiative is co-financed by the European Commission under the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research.

Forerunner of this project was the textile project on Penelope in collaboration with the Museum für Abgüsse Klassischer Bildwerke in Munich (see www.abgussmuseum.de)
